Justice Matters Presents Breaking Open to Make Whole “How Does a Homelessness Crisis Infect the Wealthiest Nation in History?”

Cole Chandler with introduction by Jeannie Ritter Tuesday, Oct 6  7:00 pm via Zoom

Homelessness is one of the great social and economic challenges of our time. This challenge is often viewed through a local lens, but the scope of the problem spreads all across our country. Over 500,000 Americans are without a home each night, and models suggest that number could increase by as much as 45% in the next year due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis is a complex web of problems that need to be understood at their deepest level, but such an understanding will reveal tried and true solutions that are solving the problem in cities across the globe.

Join Cole Chandler as he explores these themes and describes how a collective recommitment to caring deeply for our neighbors can make us part of the solution.
