Godparent for Baptism – Testimony for a Practicing Catholic
Godparents have more requirements than parents wanting to have their child baptized. A Godparent is someone willing to step up and aid the parents in the child’s practice of the faith. This is a life-long commitment. This can be someone with more experience or Godly wisdom. It is not a merely symbolic role or another hoop to jump through.
When Fr. Daniel signs a testimony for being a godparent, he is officially testifying that not only are you qualified to be a godparent because you’ve received all of your sacraments but also that you’d be an effective sponsor because you, yourself, take the faith seriously or are making a good-faith effort to restart the practice of your faith.

Sponsor for Confirmation – Testimony for a Practicing Catholic
When Fr. Daniel signs that testimony, he is officially testifying that not only are you qualified to be a confirmation sponsor because you’ve received all of your sacraments but also that you’d be an effective sponsor because you, yourself, take the faith seriously or are making a good-faith effort to restart the practice of your faith.

School Affiliation Form – Testimony for a Practicing Catholic
School affiliation offers a discount to Catholic school families, which often surpasses the cost of educating that family’s student(s). The discount is a show of good faith for families actively participating in and edifying the life of the parish through intentional tithing, Mass attendance, and volunteering. Receiving Baptism, Confirmation, and/or Holy Matrimony once in the Church is not the same as ongoing practice and doesn’t qualify a family for affiliation.
For the 2024-2025 school year, affiliation is determined on Mass attendance alone, regardless of monetary donation or volunteering. We’re starting with the essentials first.
