“Becoming Who We Receive” on November 16 presented by Will Payne
In the parish hall at 7:00pm with adoration to follow.
When we discuss healthy nutrition at check-ups, I share with my pediatric patients that “they are what they eat” to encourage them to consume a healthy diet to keep their bodies healthy. In the mystery of the Holy Eucharist, we too are called to become who we receive. In this session, we’ll discuss how Jesus is calling us to receive His Body and Blood and allow Him to nourish us and transform us to be His real presence to all those we encounter.
Will Payne has been a parishioner at Most Precious Blood since moving with his family to Denver in 2012. He and his wife Kate have 4 children, all who attend Most Precious Blood School. Will is a general pediatrician at a private primary care practice in the Denver metro area. Before studying medicine, Will majored in theology at Saint Louis University in Missouri.
