The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has three essential elements – Friendship, Service, and Spirituality.  These elements are present throughout our works and especially in our meetings.   Friendship – we develop friendships with our Neighbors we serve.  Our friendships are strengthened by our service.  Service – we seek to “draw nearer to Christ, serving Him in the poor and one another.”  Our ideal is to relieve suffering “for love alone.”  Our service puts faith into action; it is a concrete instance of spirituality.  Spirituality – is a call to both service and to friendship.  We are “genuine communities of faith and love, of prayer and action.”  Prayer is a focus of our work and meetings.  You may have noticed our new prayer intention box in the gathering space (outside the RCIA room).  The MPB parish is always in our prayers.  We now welcome your individual prayer requests in this box.  We will remember your intentions at our bi-monthly meetings.

Your Society of St. Vincent will be having their Collection the weekend of March 4&5, 2023.  Scan the QR code below to use Venmo for your contribution.

We now accept prayer requests anytime – just place them in our prayer box which is in the Gathering Space in the church.

Vincentians are united in an international society of charity by their spirit of poverty, humility, and sharing, which is nourished by prayer, reflection, and mutually supportive gatherings.

Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes — seeing the face of Christ in all whom we serve.

We meet the first and third Sundays of the month (pre-COVID). Now we Zoom on those weekends.

Those needing assistance can contact us at this number: 303.862.3275. Someone will return the call and start the process to provide assistance. Our email address is: svdp.mpbdenver@gmail.com
